Subterranean Flat Screen Blues - oil on canvas by Kris Ralph © 2005- 102cm x 76cm
The signature piece of the exhibition depicting the young Dylan (the most popular protest singer of the 20th Century)
tossing flat screens with images instead of cards with words. The idea inspired by his film clip for "Subterranean Homesick Blues" highlights the
ability to protest on a global scale in the 21st Century, with technology.
Featured on the screens are two prominent artists of protest from the late 20th to the present century, Bono & Sir Bob Geldof
who have crossed the line between selling their message to the masses (voters), through their music ,
to actualising and effecting negotiations with the Leaders of the Western World.
